Pillar Procedure

One of the procedures that we perform at Whittier Oral Surgery for snoring and sleep apnea is called the Pillar Procedure. The Pillar Procedure places tiny implants in the soft palate, the primary contributor to snoring and often an issue with sleep apnea. Over a period of weeks, these tiny implants stiffen the soft palate and greatly reduces snoring and helps to alleviate mild to moderate sleep apnes. The implants take about 15 minutes to place in our office with either a local or general anesthesia.
